It has been a few years since the OC Fair brought us a cattle drive down the streets of Costa Mesa.  This year’s cattle drive will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015.

200 head of cattle will run through Costa Mesa accompanied by cowboys and cowgirls to make sure they arrive at the Orange County Fair.

The cattle will go from OCC down Adams to Mesa Verde to Harbor to Fair Drive and finally to the Fairgrounds.

We watched this a few years ago as the cattle proceeded down Placentia near Estancia High School.  It was quite an experience that both I and the kids enjoyed.
