Costa Mesa Peanuts’ House – Delighting Children and Adults

If you are you looking to experience a little more Christmas spirit, come to the

Costa Mesa Peanuts’ House.

For more than 40 years the Jordan Family has presented the Peanuts’ House at 2269 Santa Ana Avenue, Costa Mesa, CA which has delighted children and adults alike.

This house has been part of my Christmas experience for many years, and now it’s apparently part of my son’s Christmas traditions as well. 

For the last few days, he’s been asking, “When can we go to the Peanuts’ House? I want to see Santa and have hot cider.”

His memories of the Peanuts’ House are already perfectly clear.

Explaining that it wasn’t quite late enough in the season for the Peanuts’ House to be in full swing was fruitless.

So, off we went tonight.  We arrived just as they were turning on all of the lights, and it’s quite the sight.  However, Santa isn’t there yet, and there’s no cider and no Snoopy.

We’ll be back next week when the Peanuts’ Gang will be in full swing and Santa will be there to take Christmas requests.

This house embodies so much of the Christmas spirit and is up from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day.

Santa will be visiting the Costa Mesa Peanuts’ House this year from December 18th until December 23rd from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  Pictures with Santa and the cider are free.  So, if you have never seen this amazing display of lights and animation, do yourself and your kids a favor and stop by in the next couple of days.

They’re also collecting canned food and toys for the less fortunate.

If you can’t make it while Santa is visiting, the Peanuts’ House display will be up through New Year’s Day.
