A couple of weeks ago, my son started at Victoria Elementary as a kindergartner.
He has enjoyed his first two weeks immensely. He has made a few new friends, learned a few things, and most importantly to him, as had the opportunity to pick from the prize box almost every day.
One of his best moments was knowing his phone number. How does he know that? What he actually knows is my cell phone number. He surprised me one day over two years ago by quietly saying it with me as I left a message.
“How did you know that I asked?” “You leave that number all the time, Mommy.”
It’s nice to know he’s paying attention, and it earned him another trip to the prize box : )
