Costa Mesa Omelette Parlor – A Local Favorite

Hidden away in a strip mall is one of our all time favorite breakfast places.  The Costa Mesa Omelette Parlor opened in July 1983, and is located on the corner of 17th and Orange.

Costa Mesa Omelette Parlor - A Breakfast Treat

Many times, I’ve taken friends from out of town to the Costa Mesa Omelette Parlor, and once I take them that is almost always their request for breakfast the next time they’re in town.

Open from 6am to 3pm daily, this local favorite is crowded on Saturday and Sunday mornings.  Even then, it’s well worth the wait.

My favorites at the Costa Mesa Omelette Parlorare the Banking on Ken Fowler (the chili and cheese omelette) and the Every “Clouds” Silver Lining (bacon or ham with cheese). My husband’s favorite is But the Price is Right Ma (Italian sausage, tomatoes, mozarella cheese and oregano). The omelettes come with wonderfully delicious potatoes, an English muffin and fruit.  They are a great deal with a large amount of food.

The Costa Mesa Omelette Parlor is eclectically decorated with an old wooden wagon, huge milk jugs, pictures of the local area from early in the 20th century and numerous other fun items.

If you’re looking for a new favorite breakfast place, be sure to stop by and try one of their justly famous omelettes. Once you’ve tried one, I’m sure you’ll be back again and again, just like we have been for the past few decades.  For more information see Costa Mesa Omelette Parlor.
