Free Summer Concerts in the Park in Costa Mesa
This summer, the City of Costa Mesa is again putting on several Free Summer Concerts in the Park in Fairview Park located at 2625 Placentia, Costa Mesa next door to Estancia High School.
The event runs from 5:30 to 7:30, and the music begins each week at 6:15pm.
Along with great music, come visit with your neighbors, enjoy free arts and crafts and face painting for the kids. Learn more about the Fire Department, the Water Department and the Costa Mesa Historical Society by visiting their booths. Many of them even have goodies for the kids.
Be sure to pack a picnic for dinner and bring your chairs or blankes. There are several great gourmet food coaches if you don’t feel like packing your own picnic. There is even a beer and wine garden.

July 31, 2012 – Hot August Night – Neil Diamon Tribute Band
The first week was phenomenal with Paperback Writer performing many great Beatles songs while changing from one traditional set of Beatles outfits to another. The evening was topped with a great fireworks display while everybody got ready for the Fourth of July the next day.
Whether you’ve been coming to the Free Summer Concerts in the Park for years or you’ve never been, make sure you come and enjoy one or more of them this summer. You’ll be glad you did.
